I SURVIVED TODAY!!! BWAH HAH HA HA !!!
a few more hurtles to get over this week then I am made in the shade with pink lemonade...not literally but you know what I mean. only one class today and a finished paper.
I treated myself to lunch (I forgot to even bring snacks)

okay so not so much jerkin but I have taken an irregular slow and steady pace today.
I'm tired and overworked (because of myself)
but it shall come to an end soon
my neighbor fixed up a lamp for me and I was able to watch some movies too so, pretty good for the most part.

Bead 480 kinda gray day

I'm really tired and fed up with working so hard and long, my to-so list is ALLOT less full but unfortunately my mind has filled with so much anger and frustration. I know college is supposed to be challenging, but the fact of the matter is I need a real break. so much of this one has been filled with worries and work that I barely got a days worth of time for myself and with my family. I always feel this way towards the end of the semester but can't shake the current feelings that this one has on me....I don't feel like I'm at home, I don't feel surrounded by individuals that love and care about me. All I honestly feel is the worry that is smothering me at this point and loneliness from the fact that right now it feels like I'm the only one who cares about me...

Hope y'all had a Happy, safe, and thrifty Black Friday, I did. I was able to get a super cool shirt (and a ring that will be my Christmas present *because my parents don't online shop at ALL, so I'm in charge of every ones online purchases....and I mean every ones...* but I "don't" know about it at all).
For a majority of the day I forgot that it was Friday though..but I still got oodles of my school work to-do list done and also got to spend time with family and have even-more-delicious-then-the-first-time-leftovers and watch cheesy movies. I also had a WONDERFUL mail/ surprise day too!

I haven't taken it off since I put it on and am so freakishly stoked about it! I can't wait to "sign" my prints with it and to be honest stamp everything in sight...I won't lie to you! haha ^__^

also I found out that I won an AMAZINGLY GORGEOUS cutting board, I hadn't relised that I won till a few hours ago, for some reason the notification email was sent to my spam but I had a need to check that and my email today?

Bead 478 Thanksgiving

Hope ya'll had a magical Thanksgiving, I sure did, I cooked the entire meal myself....Like the whole freaking meal, I was so proud and feel so accomplished that I did it. the menu went as follows:

honey and brown sugar glazed ham
green bean casserole
broccoli and cheese casserole
mac& cheese two ways
mashed potatoes
yellow saffron rice
sweet potato pies
sauteed mushrooms
cranberry sauce
rolls
and something else.....welp I can't remember!
but it was allot of Delicious food, my family engorged themselves as soon as they were allowed in the kitchen. I was also able to watch a pbs special on mushrooms and fungi in my state after I cooked I love mushrooms so much!

Bead 477 chex please!

I like silly little stupid puns and for the most part I really liked today: sleeping in late, planning tommrows meal, went out for pre-thanksgiving grubbing lunch with a buddy of mine and her younger brother, made chicken strips for supper then prepairing a stock with the bones of said chicken, roasted a butternut squash, baked sweet potatoes and made an outragiously huge batch of chex-mix.

Its official I'm finally on thanksgiving break.
the majority of the day went swimmingly. quick and easy first class, okay painting class and a really productive and interesting etching class. We finally presented our series projects to folks at the local brick community museum I think they enjoyed it and I also was etching like a beast!!

I've had it today. not a good day, not a bad one either, but the fact of the matter is I'm just exhausted and NEED a break. I've been working so hard and unfortunately haven't been taking care of myself  like I need to. I miss my home, my family, my pets and loved ones that have come and gone. I just wanna stay home, be surrounded by people who actually love and care deeply about me.

18 years ago today my grandma passed away, and although I wasn't old enough to remember her as a person I still felt like a huge chunk of my soul was missing today

Bead 473 Comic Con

Okay, lemme lay it down for you..... I love fun.
I love Adventure Time.
I love comic books and I love friends.
and I was able to spend about half my day with my loves.
This was my first Comic Con ever and in retrospect it was tiny in comparison to the much more famous grandiose ones that everyone knows about. for the most part it was really great, but again super tiny and a good majority of the people attending were rude. the vendors were super sweet but I found myself constantly getting pushed around and saying excuse me. There were a select few kind folks in the crowd like a funny gentleman and his son who happily informed us that " If we stop we will never see anything" and a portly handsome storm trooper who bumped up against me and giggled and lisped a very sweet and genuine "sorry!!!"

A pretty productive day as far as I'm concerned, painted a ton of my brain creatures and finished a cowl in one day. I'm gearing up for comic con! yes you read correctly comic con, I've been wanting to go to one forever but never got the chance till now. so my friend, her dad, little brother and I are going to one tomorrow!!! eeps I am so excited,but hopefully we aren't hyping it up too much. we've been counting down for awhile and also ended up doing the "cowl for the con" thing on a whim...we are kind of impatient and needed a project to fill our time on this glorious Con Eve

Well technically not my teeth but this wonderful persons toofs, I love love love this blog My Milk Toof it documents the adventures of an adorable pair of teeth named Ickle and Lardee (and their goldfish named carrot). recently I purchased some My milk toof buttons and they arrived today!! eeeeeppppps! which ended up being a cherry on top of a pretty great day: easy classes, a buddy attempting to eat lunch with me, great day in etching.

well today was quite a day.
from a soggy trip to the library to sculpting, etching and painting randomly and with pretty much no care in the world. I'm for the most part really to tired to care or worry at this point, which luckily has actually been better for me work wise.

SO FREAKING TIRED.

did my final astronomy lab and went to an observatory way out in the boonies,well it was about an hour and a half away from our house. the lab ended up being over an hour and a half long,I liked it allot but would have enjoyed it better if I wasn't so tired and now I have to wait to register for my next semester of classes. I sware my eyes could melt out of my head out of exhaustion.

been a kinda busy day. went yard sailing as usual, purchased some sweat pants and a lot of other random stuff. I've been working on still more little projects and that's pretty much occupied all my day. I've been dying fabric, sewing with pliers, and crocheting like a beast.

First productive free day I have had in a long while. My goodness this was such a wonderful Friday. I was able to sleep late, make the best stew of my life, clean and re-organise my room, randomly hanging up a plastic whale on my ceiling ( don't know why? he needed to be there for some reason?), finish a small painting, sew up some old felt creatures, sculpt so new brooch mind monsters, found my missing: comics ,fabric, strap for a purse I'm making, some needles, some things that I need to plant, beads, yarn and a few other odds and ends that I've been missing. I feel so satisfied after a day like this.

tired but so grateful that today is my Friday, It was a pretty good day and I did manage to get quite afew things done.I finally am getting caught up on my websites, blogs and stores that I love to purchase from...not such a great Idea seeing as I have allot of addictions and very little self control. thus far I have only purchased things in my mind, but the night is still young....
